German national team

Since the summer of 2004, I was a member of the German national team.

We were able to achive some great wins like winning the Eurpean championship in 2005, losing the bronze medal game in the paralympic games in Torino in 2006 and winning bronze at the European championships in 2007.

Past this great years, the team went into struggle. After reaching the 5th place in the A-Pool World championship in Boston, we made the 8th place in the next A-Pool World championship in Czech Republic and went down to the B-Pool. In 2011, we reached the 6th rank in the European championship in Sweden.

In the Summer of 2011, I got choosed to be the captain of the team.

Since 2012, we have a former professional hockey player (Andreas Pokorny) as our head coach. Since that, the team got better again. We reached the 3rd rank in the B-Pool World championshipo in Serbia and won the B-Pool World championship in Japan in 2013. With that success, we went to the A-Pool again.

During the A-Pool World championship in Buffalo, we played some decent hockey and reached the 6th rank. With that result, we were able to celebrate that we are staying in the A-Pool.

In the summer of 2015, I left the team because of personal reasons.

Since January of 2017, I am back in the national team.

Right now we preparing ourselves for the world championship in South Korea.
